Monthly Calendar

We have some great classes in store for all of you, Janet Rice Fiber Artist & Instructor will be here on two different days. The first will be Oct.30th "My First Art Quilt" and Nov 20th. "Fun with design and composition".

Caryl Spenny will be teaching her great classes based on Cheryl Phillips Techniques and will be teaching Bargello classes and One Block Wonder Class. She also will be teaching Free Motion Quilting.

Superior Threads will be here either on Dec. 8th or 9th, final date to be determined, teaching thier "Open Thread Bar" Workshop $ 40.00 per student, which provides students with the special treat of quilting a small whole cloth project using any threads they choose from Superior 's Open Thread Bar. Discussing the dynamics of specialty threads, working with machine tensions and needle selection with the assistance of a professional teacher to help with any questions or concerns. The day will be followed up with a Seminar "Thread Facts and Fiction" this is open to all for just $15.00. Class is limited to 15 students so sign up early to reserve your space.

Mary Lou Hollenbeck of H.D. Designs we are trying to schedule her in October to teach her famous techniques. She is well known for her "Four Patch Stacked Posey Pattern", " Alpine Wonder", "Ten Minute Tiles", "Stacked Galaxy" and many more. You can check her out on her web site www.hddesigns.net.

Julie Hocker of "Ladyhawk Designs" will also be here to teach her great art techniques.

Of Course I will be teaching classes throughout the winter too.

Bargello Table Runner Class September 29th. Time: 10-4. $35.00 plus pattern.

Bargello Table Runner Cutting Workshop: This workshop is for anyone, rather your planning on taking the class or just want to brush up on your skills. Learn accurate strip cutting, sewing and pressing used for Bargello techniques. $ 10.00 Time: 10-Noon.

Free Motion Quilting Class: Learn how to free motion quilt your own projects. Lots of hands on quilting, techniques, and hints. $35.00. Time: 10-4.

CLASS POLICY: CLASS FEE IS DUE WHEN REGISTERING. STUDENTS WILL PROVIDE THEIR OWN SEWING MACHINE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER AND SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THE CLASS. SUPPLIES CAN BE PURCHASED THE DAY OF THE CLASS BEFORE CLASS TIME. BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH ON FULL DAY CLASSES UNLESS LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED. CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE THREE DAYS IN ADVANCE OF THE CLASS DATE. CLASS FEE WILL BE REFUNDED AS A STORE CREDIT IF ADVANCE NOTICE IS RECEIVED. YOU MAY SEND SOMEONE ELSE IN YOUR PLACE JUST NOTIFY US AHEAD OF TIME OF THE CHANGE. BOOKS AND PATTERNS MAY NOT BE SHARED.
